From January to July 2024, the countries participated in learning communities through four working groups, addressing various topics to prepare the dialogue and actions to be carried out in Quito on October 21 and 22, 2024. Here you can find the results of these reflections.
Pre-congress (previous actions)
Working table 1: Right to Learn
This roundtable focused on the Right to Learn, aligning with the Federation's global campaign. 13 countries completed the process in 78 learning communities, with 697 participants. The results seek to propose actions to overcome barriers to learning.
Working table 2: Challenges and Transformative Pedagogical Praxis in Fe y Alegría
This roundtable established Regional Pedagogical Dialogue Circles with 133 educators from Latin America, Europe and Africa. Sixteen (16) innovative pedagogical practices addressing seven challenges to improve the quality of education in vulnerable populations were presented.
Working table 3: Education
This third roundtable analyzed educational models and their social impact, evaluating proposals that promote equality and justice. We sought to integrate holistic education proposals and strengthen the educational identity of the movement.
Working table 4: Popular Education and Global Challenges
This fourth roundtable discussed the global challenges of education from the perspective of Popular Education. Work was carried out with national directorates at the National Directors' Council in Panama in March 2024, seeking proposals to close gaps and improve the quality of education.
